Shortstop and manager, widely regarded as one of the best all-around players of his era, he was one of the five original inductees into the Hall of Fame in 1936. Vintage glossy 2.75 x 4.5 candid photo of Wagner along the outfield fence in his Pirates uniform, signed in black ink, “J. Honus Wagner.” Matted and framed to an overall size of 10 x 12. A few light bends and creases, silvering to darker areas of bottom portion of image, and some slight irregular ink adhesion to signature, otherwise fine condition. A one-of-a-kind image of one of the Hall of Fame’s ‘First Five.’
