<B>Honolulu, HI</B></I> - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 607 <B>The First NB of Hawaii at Honolulu</B></I> Ch. # 5550<BR> This is one of the nicest Hawaii Territorial notes we have ever been able to offer. While most notes from this bank can not be regarded as scarce, examples in this grade are almost never available, with perhaps a dozen of the 250 recorded large notes from here listed in the census as "CU" and considerably fewer likely to go into a CU holder after examination by one of the two major grading services. This piece is a happy exception. It just screams originality, with its embossing clearly visible through the third party holder as well as being noted on the back with the phrase "Great Embossing." If you are interested in owning one note from the Territory of Hawaii and can afford the finest, this is the lot you should take home tonight.
