Chilling photo album of a Nazi concentration camp. The 22-photo album begins with masses of dead prisoners wearing ragged clothing while lying in the soil. One scene shows Allied soldiers walking past hundreds of slain prisoners. Another shot shows a destroyed camp with piles of dead bodies and crumbling buildings. The larger pictures show malnutrition-ravaged humans resembling skeletons. One of the most disturbing images is a close-up of an emaciated prisoner on the ground naked with pencil-thin arms and with his mouth listlessly open. The album concludes with a tour of the crematorium and an image of a man holding a box of bone fragments. The first eight photos are 3.5'' x 2.5'', while the last 14 pictures measure 6'' x 3''. Some photos contain a small amount of creasing and tearing, but the images are still vividly visible. An important album bearing witness to World War II atrocities.
