Holland and Holland Royal Grade full detachable sidelock double rifle in .577 nitro express caliber, blue and case hardened finish. Select checkered walnut stock, hinged front trigger, auto ejectors, showing claw mounts and Hensoldt 4x scope, in leather over oak carrying case with brass furniture and canvas cover. Serial #35242. The rib of the barrel is engraved 577 bore, 3” case. Both the barrel and the actions are signed Holland and Holland. The barrels measure 23” and are of heavy weight. The rifle measures 40” overall when assembled. The stock measures 14” to the end of the wood, 15-1/8” to the end of the pad. The rifle weights 12.6lbs, not including scope. The rifle shows 50-yard big game sights. The barrels show 98% of an English quality refinish, probably by Holland and Holland. The locks show 70-80% case hardening, slightly drifting to silver, and normal aging. There are some very vivid colors. The triggerguard shows 75% of robin’s egg blue and a rolled edge on the right side. The stock is fine to near excellent and wood metal fit is excellent, particularly around the locks. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
