This is a real WW2 helmet.
Original German WW2 helmet used in the production of the Bernard Fein and Albert S. Ruddy created television sitcom 'Hogan's Heroes' (1965–1971), which is set in a prisoner-of-war (POW) camp in Nazi Germany during World War II, and centers around a group of Allied prisoners who use the POW camp as an operations base for sabotage and espionage activities directed against Nazi Germany.
Also used in other movies/TV shows.
