<B>1961 Jacques Plante and Frank Mahovlich York Peanut Butter Glasses Series #1 Lot of 2.</B></I> In an effort to boost their sales, the York peanut butter company launched a promotion that saw them package their product in attractive glass tumblers featuring members of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens. Since their initial release just before the 1961 Stanley Cup Playoffs, these mementos have become quite the lightning rod for collectors, always causing excitement among the more serious hockey hobbyists. Here we present a pairing of these fine tumblers, each exhibiting outstanding visual appeal and devoid of any flaws to speak of. Entries from Hall of Famers Jacques Plante and Frank Mahovlich are presented here, representing two of the more desirable pieces from the collection.
