Composer of Stardust and Georgia On My Mind. ALS, one page, both sides, no date, written on the last page of a letter to Carmichael from a doctor. In part: “My secretary is acting as my secretary now and I’m pretty sure she can give you the address & name of a publisher who reprinted my first book entitled ‘The Stardust Road.’ It is a rather short book and the story ends in 1931.”; and a glossy 10 x 8 photo of Carmichael reading the paper, signed in black felt tip. A few dings to photo, and intersecting folds and toning to letter, otherwise fine condition.
