This day book is from the Hjul hardware store in Eureka, Nevada. Includes names of interest such as Anton Tognini as president of the Eureka County School District, Ruby Hill Development Company, Judge Green, Edgar Sadler (father of future Governor Reinhold Sadler), Eureka County High School (two small ball bats), Eureka Baseball Team (bats), Rescue Hose Company, Eureka Hotel, Ock Hash chinaman, Eureka Secret Canyon Mining Company, Mackintosh Mines (Prospect Mountain), Eureka Hotel, etc. They sold everything from blasting caps to nails to flat irons, to carpet to mattresses to paint, etc. On May 31 they sold a shipping case to Thomas Clifford for an infant to be taken to Tonopah. 300 pages chalk full of stories.
