This is an exceptionally rare complete three volume first edition set of The History Of The War In America, Between Great Britain And Her Colonies printed in 1879. This is one of the only complete sets known to be available or exist and includes Volume I, Volume II, and the incredibly rare Volume III. The set is one of the rarest histories of the Revolutionary War of Independence and is attributed to Patrick Gordon. This copy contains the important folding table listing those killed or wounded in the Battle of Bunker Hill. The first two volume are a history of conflicts from 1774-1778 and the third volume continued the history to 1783 and was printed in 1785 (very rare to have complete set). Dublin: Printed For The Company of Booksellers M,DCC,LXXIX (1779). The books are in the original leather binding and are in overall good condition for their age (see pictures for condition). Each book is 5 1/8”x8”. Exceedingly RARE. Books include the fold out display of the War Casualties (No Map Included). There is no other complete set available for purchase or known to exist.
