NY: Harper & Brothers, 1867-68. ''History of the United Netherlands'' by John Lothrop Motley. Four volumes, hardcover, bound in 3/4 leather over marbled boards. Pages are clean and crisp. Leather and edges are slightly rubbed. Six-compartment spine with gilt writing, with minor chipping. Previous owner bookplate on the front pastedown of each volume and written on front end page and title pages of all volumes. Overall, very nice condition.
