Seilhamer <I>History of the American Theatre Before the Revolution, During the Revolution and After</B></I>.</B></I> (Philadelphia: Globe Printing House, 1888,1889, 1891), first edition, three volumes: volume one 376 pages, volume two 381 pages, volume three 427 pages, 4to (8.5" x 10.5"), rebound in brown cloth, ex-library of the Rittenhouse Club, Philadelphia. A history of the American theater from 1749 through 1797. Includes information on the important plays, actors and theatrical companies of the period. All volumes rebound in brown cloth with embossed library marks on the lower spine. Bookplate of the Rittenhouse Club on inside front cover. Bumped corners with shelf wear present on all volumes. Volume three has a repair to the head and foot of the spine. Internal contents in very good condition.
