Historic Spanish pocket semi-auto pistol, 6.35mm cal., blue finish, checkered hard rubber grips with a broken left grip and large Xs on both grips, #8360 in overall good condition with tan leather flap holster, contained in shadow boxdisplay case with notarized affidavit and notarized letter of provenance indicating the following: AFFIDAVIT: Dated 12 Nov. 1979; signed by Thomas H. Silbaugh, of Cameron,Wisconsin, who states in 1944 he purchased this gun and holster from Victor E. Nedland of “Vick’s Rod & Gun Shop”, who advised he (Mr. Silbaugh) was Mr. Nedland’s brother-in-law. Silbaugh further states in the affidavit that Nedland stated hekept the gun in a large old steel safe and that the gun was previously the property of Mr. Alphonse (Al) Capone, the notorious Chicago gangster – that Mr. Capone had come to Mr. Nedland’s shop and requested that Mr. Nedlandtrade him another .25 automatic for the above described gun which Mr. Capone was not satisfied with.
