She learned the art of pottery making from her mother. Collaborating with her husband, Anita makes blackware and redware, polychrome redware, two-tone black-on-black carved pottery and black melon pots. She first entered the Santa Fe Indian Market in 1979 and has been consistently earning ribbons ever since. Pieces of her work can be seen at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC, the Millicent Rogers Museum in Taos and the Museum of New Mexico in Santa Fe.''
