Historic Copper Queen Mining Company (El Paso) Shipped Colt Single Action Army Revolver with Factory

Manufactured in 1907. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, "32 W.C.F." on the left side and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the circled Rampant Colt. Matching serial number on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap with "1224" assembly number on the loading gate. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, blue finish with casehardened frame and hammer, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt at the top. The accompanying factory letter verifies the caliber, barrel length, blue finish with grips as "Not Listed" and that it was shipped as 1 of 10 to the Copper Queen Consolidated Mining Co. in El Paso, Texas on March 9, 1907. Also with the revolver is information on the El Paso and Southwestern Railroad, the town of Bisbee, Arizona and Copper mining in the state of Arizona.

Condition: Fine. The revolver retains 70% original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the grip straps. Areas thinning to a smooth gray and several minor scratches and a drag line on the cylinder. The frame retains 60% bright original case colors with muted case colors and a smooth dove gray on the balance. The grips are excellent with minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
