Percussion black powder rifle marked "Wm Craig" of Allegheny, PA. This early target rifle features a hexagonal barrel measuring approximately 36" in length and follows a Kentucky rifle style configuration with a decorative brass trigger guard and brass buttplate. Traces of engraving are visible aft of the trigger. The trigger action would not catch during inspection. The brass trigger guard is worn and appears to have once had a marking.
