Highly collectible Colt SAA 2nd Generation revolver, .45 cal., 4-3/4” barrel, nickel finish, checkered hard rubber eagle grips, #35414SA, with factory letter dated Dec. 9, 1981 indicating this gun was originally shipped to legendary HollywoodWestern film and TV fast draw coach, Arvo Ojala, on Dec. 6, 1961, at 5219 Sepulveda Blvd, Van Nuys, CA., 1 gun in shipment. The gun is in overall excellent condition displaying the majority of its nickel finish and showing some firing and use,index line on cylinder; interior shows firing with blanks. Also included is a typed and hand corrected letter dated Feb. 3, 1983, Sahara Gun Show, Las Vegas, Nevada and signed at the bottom in pen and in pencil “Arvo Ojala” with thesalutation “Best of luck to Sterling Fenn”, covering information about Arvo’s work in Hollywood and about this particular Colt. The most important parts of the letter are that this gun, referenced by serial number, became hisfavorite working gun; that he re-worked the action for quick shooting and returned it to the factory to have it nickel plated (originally came blued) so “My purpose was to have a Colt six-gun of the same finish and style as one ordered from Colt on
