The village of Asad-Abad produces a very limited number of Hamedans. However, the limited few that are produced are superior in terms of wool quality, design and color scheme. It is intriguing to mention that these vibrant and charming pieces are woven by women of the household with very little education, if any at all. This Asad-Abad Hamedan represents a perfect example of a sophisticated design and intriguing pattern of a village made piece.
