High quality pre-war Belgian double-barrel side by side boxlock shotgun, showing 29-3/4” barrels, 12ga, choked Full and Full. Double triggers, auto ejectors, European style pistol grip stock, checkered butt with metal top and bottom plate and mounted with European type sling swivels. The action shows a removable floorplate, and a Greener type crossbolt. The action is nicely engraved in scrolls and florals and shows chiseled fences with wraparound side clips to the front portion of th frame where it meets the barrels. The barrel shows many Belgian proofs but no maker’s ID. Just proofs for 12ga, 70mm (Full length shells) and inscribed made in Belgium on top. The barrels retain 98-99% original blue, the frame shows 65-75% case hardening starting to drift and tone. The triggerguard shows 50% blue thinning at gripping area. The removable floorplate shows 75% blue. The stocks are good and show a light color straight grain with good quality checkering and are in good to very good condition. The bores are good but slightly dirty from storage, and look like they will clean to excellent. The gun locks tight. There is two small losses of wood at the edge of the forearm where it meets the frame right
