High quality full sidelock shotgun, Model 56 by Aguirre & Aranzabl of Eibar, Spain, 12 gauge, 3" magnum, single trigger, auto ejectors, beavertail forend, in luggage type case with label in lid. The gun shows 30"barrels, non-ventilated rib, choked improved modified right, full left; with English style straight stock and high quality features throughout. The sidelock actions are finely engraved with tight scrolls and florals. The gun is nicely stocked in burl walnut and nicely checkered. The stock measures 14" to the end of the wood, 14-7/8" to the end of the English style pad. The barrel shows importer marks of William "Bill" Moore ofWestlake, California, who handled the finest quality Eibar arms. The gun remains in fine to near excellent condition showing just minor use, excellent bores, 98%+ blue and case hardening, stocks also fine. The caseis in very good condition with some minor scuffs and slight traveling marks. The high quality Spanish arms have become expensive since the rise of the Euro and the fall of the dollar. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
