High quality custom rifle by G. Hoenig, Boise Idaho on pre-64 Model 70 action, serial #256593. .30-06 caliber, 24” medium weight round barrel, iron rear sight marked 100yds, folding hood front sight. The rifle ismounted with a Zeiss 4-32 power scope on rail mounts. The rifle is finely stocked in select walnut, expertly checkered, folding sling swivels, metal pistol grip cap with Hoenig markings engraved “TS”. The rifle isfinely blued with a rust-blued finish and shows European influence in the styling. The action has been worked and honed. The trigger is a positive 3.5-4.5lbs, and the stock measures 14-1/2” to the end of the recoilpad, 14-3/8” to the end of the wood. The rifle is fine to excellent with some use, 98-99%.
