High quality and unusual doubleaction pinfire oddity pistol, approx. 12mm pinfire, 6-shot fluted cylinder, blued finish, silver inlaid checkered hardwood grips, possibly ebony, with folding bayonet mounted on bottom side of barrel, serial numbered serial #8 on left side of breech, barrel inlaid in silver, “F.a De Jose M.a Unzueta Eibar”. The pistol measures approx. 12-1/2” overall with 6” medium to heavy weight round barrel. The revolver retains 60-80% original blue drifting on the edges and rear of frame. Areas where the blue has drifted going to a patina with some minor staining, erosion, and just starting pinprick pitting. The pistol is ornately silver inlaid in scrolls and these silver inlays have gone to a dark blue/black and are uncleaned. The front portion of hammer is nicely scallop chiseled, the grips are checkered. The grips are good to very good other than a sliver of wood missing from right rear edge of grip, which would be an easy restoration. The edges are crisp, the action tight, the interior near excellent. A high quality Spanish pinfire that would clean beautifully and would improve with a small restoration to right grip. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
