High quality O/U percussion pocket pistol signed “I. AD. Kuchenreuter in Regensburg”; circa about 1850s-60s. The pistol measures 9” overall with 3-1/2” barrels of approx. .42 cal., both rifled. The pistol is half stocked in quality walnut with deep checkering and fine carved borders; the butt cap is polished horn. The hammers and mounts are nicely engraved and the barrels are silver inlaid. The right side of the barrel group is mounted with a ramrod. The barrels show most of their original brown, with toned original case hardening on locks, breeches and trigger guard.
