High quality American Indian made fringed carbine scabbard from Northwest coast. Beaded on soft doe skin and trade cloth lining and trim. The scabbard measures 44” overall and fits a Winchester carbine nicely (1873, 1892, 1894). Shows approx. 3” fringe, is Indian tanned, light colored soft doe skin, hand stitched with thread, with beaded florals. Of the type found in the northwest coast, all the way to Alaska. We would date the scabbard from 1900 to 1920. Est: $750 - $1,500
