High grade early Weatherby Mark V bolt-action rifle, .300 Magnum, 24” barrel (later ported), blue finish, deluxe checkered wood stock, #P61327. This South Gate, California-made Weatherby is approx. 35 years old and in overall excellentcondition showing approx. 98%+ original finish, excellent bore, crisp action, sharp markings, deluxe wood with beautiful graining, pistol grip with ivory inlay in darker wood grip cap; checkering is excellent and possibly done byMichael Chang, inlaid multi-wood design on underside of fore stock with inlaid gold plaque inscribed “Mike”; gold swivel eyelets, engraved trigger guard and floor plate including a raised gold bear inlay; exotic wood fore end tip,Weatherby hard rubber butt pad, mounted with a Weatherby Premier 3X-9X40 scope with great optics and a Weatherby custom heavy duty aluminum four latch case.
