High grade custom rifle on Model pre-64 70 barreled action in .300 H&H magnum caliber serial #255127. The rifle shows 26-1/2” factory barrel and is mounted with a Leupold 6-power scope on rail type hand-releasemounts. Showing a rear folding sight, standard front sight, bolt reinforcement at front of action near stock, European style studs for hook swivels. The metal pistol grip cap with quick-release floorplate. The rifle is nicely polished and rust-blued. The gun is stocked in select walnut with monte carlo cheek piece and satin finished. The condition is near fine with some slight storage loss to the front sight cover which is minimal.The stock measures 13” to the end of the wood, 14” to the end of the pad. The action has been polished and honed. The bore is excellent. The rifle has seen little use and is 97-99% since its customization. Thetrigger is 3.5-4.5lbs with a positive release. Although this rifle is not signed it is of high quality and probably built for Mr. Petersen personally as it has all the features he was known to desire. From the
