"Second Model" Vintage blowback-operated semi automatic target pistol chambered in .22 Short, circa 1952. It features a blued finish, heavy 6.75" ribbed barrel with provisions for weights, dovetailed patridge front sight, adjustable Davis rear sight, curved serrated trigger, slide hold-open lever, manual safety, heel magazine release, factory 10 round magazine, aluminum slide, steel frame with lever takedown, serrated grip straps, and two-piece checkered faux wood plastic grips with High Standard insignias. Includes a barrel weight. Pistol retains approximately 90% of it's original finish showing moderate handling and edge wear with spotty finish discoloring on the slide, and the largest blemish on the right side of the barrel towards the muzzle. The action is smooth, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. The markings are sharp and the plastic grips are very good. The firearm has dried oil, or CLP residue on it from storage.
