"Second Model" Vintage blowback-operated semi automatic target pistol chambered in .22 Short, circa 1952. It features a blued finish, heavy 6.75" ribbed ported barrel with provisions for weights, dovetailed patridge front sight, adjustable Davis rear sight, curved serrated trigger, slide hold-open lever, manual safety, heel magazine release, factory 10 round magazine, aluminum slide, steel frame with lever takedown, serrated grip straps, and two-piece checkered faux wood plastic grips with High Standard insignias. Includes a barrel weight. Pistol retains approximately 95% of it's original finish showing moderate handling and edge wear, and some white spots on top of the slide. The action is smooth, the bore is dirty, but looks bright with strong rifling. The markings are sharp and the plastic grips are very good with light handling blemishes. The firearm has dried oil, or CLP residue on it from storage. The barrel porting looks like it was done at home and affects its condition.
Condition is NRA Good to Very Good.
