Very fine. The barrels, frame and hammer retain 75% of the original vivid case colors with areas of smooth brownish patina. The barrels and frame have had a protective coating applied some time ago and about half still remains. The grip straps have a smooth brownish patina. The trigger guard shows strong traces of original blue finish mixed with smooth mottled brown patina. The grips are excellent retaining 95% original varnish and showing a few dings and scuffs. The engraving is crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
