High Grade Bolt Action sporting rifle on model 70 pre-64 action signed Griffin & Howe, Inc, New York on barrel. Fully engraved by Churchill. Serial #2247. Action shows Winchester number 309585. The gun is finely stocked in select burl walnut with beautiful select grain, finely checkered with exotic wood forend cap. The floorplate shows beautiful quality scroll engraving which is matching to the engraved steel pistol grip cap and the rifle shows a milled steel G&H type buttplate. The action and bolt are engine turned, the bolt knob is checkered engraved in G&H style. The rifle shows a 24” heavy round barrel, a African type rib with folding sights with gold inlays, typical ramp type front sight. The gun is mounted with a Kahles scope on G&H side mount with engraved scope rings that match the floor plate engraving. The rifle is fine to excellent showing just slight use, a couple of light storage marks and is 98% to near new condition. In luggage typ carrying case with velveteen exterior and fiberglass exterior. This rifle combines the high quality model 70 action with claw extractor and superb G&H workmanship. Est: $12,500 - $25,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
