High detail, prehistoric ( 400 million years old ) Drotops Megalomanicus Trilobite fossil from the Atlas Mountains, Morocco. Many hours of quality paleontologist restoration work shows in this fossil. Nice display piece. 2" H. This particular trilobite is among one of the earliest groups of marine arthropods from the trilobite order Phacopida, family Phacopidae.  They lived during the Devonian period over 400 million years ago. They are found at the fossil site Hamar Laghdad Formation, Djebel Issoumour, Alnif, Morocco.
