<B>Heuer Men's Stainless Steel Pilot Quartz Chronograph Wristwatch, circa 1980</B></I><BR><BR>Case: 42 mm, stainless steel, water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet), with external and bi-directional rotating outer ring with inner ring under the crystal, marked Swiss Made Heuer, 230006<BR>Dial: silver with luminous "Dart" Hour Indexes, luminous "Skeleton" hour and minute hands with "Baton" sweep seconds, three auxiliary dials, sunken date with cyclops magnifier and mineral crystal<BR>Movement: Swiss quartz, functions: all ordinary calculations can be made as well as those connected with navigation: times, distances, fuel consumption, speed, etc., quick change date. Quartz measures time in half-second intervals instead of one second intervals like most quartz movements, so the chrono second hand "jumps" 120 times a second.<BR>Bracelet: stainless steel with deployant buckle and safety.<BR>Notes: Watch is accompanied by its original box and papers.<BR><BR> <B>Condition Report:</B> Normal signs of wear as appropriate with age. Bracelet is in good condition; no evidence of stretching. Movement is currently not in working order. Needs a new battery. Silver dial aids night-time readability.
