Condition: Good
To the unaided eye, this piece appears to be in good condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a normal fluorescence of the artist's pigments. There are no signs of restoration. The piece does have surface grime and build up and could benefit from a professional cleaning. There are ripples along the upper edge of the piece, where the canvas is attached to the panel. The piece is framed in a carved dark antiqued gold frame. The piece has shifted slightly in the frame, exposing about as 1/4" strip of bare panel along the right edge. The frame is in good condition for its age, showing normal signs of wear.
