Vintage 6 x 8.5 lightweight head-and-shoulders photo, signed in German in the lower border in fountain pen, “We believe in none of the ideals of the time. But we believe that man is immortal and that his image from any distortion can recover. H Hesse.” Matted to an overall size of 8 x 11. A couple trivial creases to image, with some scattered creasing and a bit of soiling to mat, otherwise fine condition.
