<B>Herman Wouk: Signed </B></I><B><I>The Caine Mutiny</B></I></B></I><B> Limited Edition</B></I> (Franklin Center, PA: The Franklin Library, 1977) limited edition, 544 pages, gilt edges, illustrated, brown-leather binding with gold lettering and decorations, blue-silk endpapers and bookmark. Herman Wouk (b. 1915) is known for several epic World War II novels, but the Pulitzer Prize-winning <I>The Caine Mutiny</B></I> (1951) is his most famous. Wouk later adapted it for the stage, which inspired Columbia's 1954 film version featuring powerful performances by Humphrey Bogart and Fred MacMurray. The first blank page after the front endpaper is signed <I>"Herman Wouk"</B></I>.
