Scarce, vintage matte-finish 10.5 x 13.5 photo, signed and inscribed in white ink to Don “Red” Barry, the star of the 1940s Red Ryder film series, “To Don Barry, A tough guy with a heart of gold. Herbert J. Yates. October 2, 1945.” In very good condition, with scattered moderate creasing (some of which passes through his handwriting), small tear to the left edge, light horizontal bends passing through Yates’ face, and trimmed edges. The first Yates item we have ever offered. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
