Signed and inscribed on the first free end page, “The good wishes of Herbert Hoover to Col. Louis L. Schlosser, Jr.,” and also signed on an off-white slip, “Woodrow Wilson,” affixed to a removable affixed 5 x 3 slip under Hoover’s signature. Also removably affixed on the front cover and opening pages are signatures of Edith Bolling Wilson, Joseph Patrick Tumulty, and a 1958 typed letter of provenance. In fine condition, with Hoover commemorative stamp affixed above signature, and an owner’s bookplate to front pastedown. Dustjacket is creased and torn.
