One page, 8” x 10.5”, on Department of Commerce letterhead, Washington, December 4, 1926, to Mr. Ralph Easley, New York. Hoover writes: “Many thanks for your letter of December 2nd. I will have to find some idle moment before I can attempt to dictate the discussion I carried on as to the foundation of party government.” Paper is lightly toned, with the usual fold creases, a red pencil has been used to underline Hoover's signature, else very good. <I>Ex.
