Herbert Hoover Typed Letter Signed as Secretary of Commerce “Herbert Hoover”. One page, 7” x 9”, on Secretary of Commerce letterhead, Washington, June 16, 1928, to Mr. Allen Sinsheimer, Chicago. The day after receiving the Republican Presidential nomination, Hoover responds to a letter from fellow Republican Allen Sinsheimer, of the National Editorial Conference (a carbon copy of Sinsheimer's letter is included) offering congratulations on his nomination. There is a paperclip mark at the upper left corner and the usual fold marks, else very good with original transmittal envelope. Included is a printed copy of An Address by Herbert Hoover, Secretary of Commerce Before the Third Pan American Commercial Conference, Pan American Union, Washington, D. C.
