Hamlin of the Federal Reserve Board thanking him for his "<I>kind words about my New York speech on foreign trade</B></I>"; two TLsS "<I>Herbert Hoover</B></I>" as President-elect, 7.25" x 10.5", 1929, ink did not adhere in the "<I>H</B></I>" of "<I>Herbert</B></I>" in one letter (two file holes in blank left margin), "<I>H</B></I>" in "<I>Hoover</B></I>" in the other; six TLsS "<I>Herbert Hoover</B></I>," 7.25" x 10.5", 1942-1951, each sending thanks for letter; three signatures "<I>Herbert Hoover</B></I>," one cut from letter. With seven original envelopes.
