Lot includes: a letter dated Nov. 23, 1931 to Undersecretary of the Treasury Ogden Mills, appointing him as a member of the Central Committee of the Red Cross, with file holes at top; a letter dated Sept. 10, 1931 to Secretary of Labor William Doak transmitting a letter; a letter dated March 22, 1932, to Senator George Pepper thanking him for considering a posting in Chicago which Pepper rejects; and a letter dated Aug. 11, 1931 to Harry Chandler of the LA Times thanking him for a birthday message.
