Bayer produced inflation currency notes for the Thuringian government in Weimar. Under a strict deadline, Bayer received the go-ahead to begin the design around noon with the series going to print at midnight the same day. The simplified sans serif typography exemplifies the Bauhaus aesthetic. Included here is one of each of the notes designed by Bayer as well as a set of One Million Mark bills in each of the seven colorways.
