<B>Henry Trumbull: <I>History of the Discovery of America: Of The Landing of Our Forefathers at Plymouth, and of Their Most Remarkable Engagements with the Indians</B></I>.</B></I> (Boston: George Clark, 1832), 256 pages, marbled paper boards, quarter calf, gilt decoration and tooling on spine, hand-colored fold out frontispiece of Col. Johnson's engagement with the Indians, two color plates inserted, 5.5" x 9.5". Originally written by Trumbull under the pen name, "Rev. James Steward", this later edition features his real name. It was published many times under many titles. This edition is in fine condition; joints slightly weak; mild chipping on the spine and boards; fully intact.
