Fixed sights on a barrel marked "LEMAN LANCASTER WARRANTED" on the top flat which is also engraved at the breech and muzzle. Scroll engraved hammer and lock plate, with the lock plate also featuring a marsh scene behind the hammer and "Henry Parker / Warranted" marked in front of the hammer. In AMERICAN GUNSMITHS, noted firearms expert Frank Sellers records a Henry Parker who worked in Trenton, New Jersey, circa 1860 and several Lemans who worked in Pennsylvania. The trigger guard, buttplate, patch box, and ramrod pipes are brass, with an engraving on the patch box. Plain trigger and a full length tiger stripe maple stock with a checkered motif wrist and a crescent buttplate.

Condition: Very good. The barrel has a smooth dark brown patina with minor flash pitting and minor spotting overall. The action has a smooth dark gray patina. The brass has a polished appearance. The stock is very good with exception of some wood missing around the lock and upper tang, a few minor cracks, and some scattered minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp overall. Mechanically fine.
