Fixed sights on a barrel marked "GIBBS / LANCASTER / PA" on the top flat. The lock plate is marked "Henry Parker / Warranted". In AMERICAN GUNSMITHS, renowned firearms expert Frank Sellers lists several Gibbs who worked in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and a Henry Parker who worked in Trenton, New Jersey, circa 1860. The lock plate also features a light scroll engraving and an engraved marsh scene. The trigger guard, patch box, crescent buttplate, forend tip, and ramrod pipes are brass. Full length tiger stripe maple stock with a plain trigger and a checkered wrist. With a brass tipped wooden ramrod.
