Henry G Gastineau, OWS (1791-1876), Beddgelert, Caernarvonshire, watercolour on board, 9 x 14cm *The original watercolour for the engraving printed in the book "Wales Illustrated" of 1830, published by Messrs Jones and Co. Gastineau was a topographer and landscape artist who trained as an engraver, and then studied at the Royal Academy Schools. He was elected to the Old Watercolour Society (AOWS) in 1821, and became a full member (OWS) in 1823 £200-300
