Signed book: The Art of Living Long by Luigi Cornaro (English translation). Later printing. Milwaukee: William F. Butler, 1918. Softcover leatherbound volume, 6.25 x 9, 214 pages. Signed and inscribed in fountain pen on the first free end page, “To Albert D. Lasker from your friend Henry Ford, Feb. 11, 1928.” In fine condition, with early professional cloth reinforcements to the front and back boards, mild soiling to the pages, and light rubbing to the covers (heavier rubbing to spine). Accompanied by four old newspaper clippings regarding Ford’s interest in aging. The book’s recipient, Albert Lasker, was a prominent American-Jewish business leader and former owner of the Chicago Cubs.
