Native American Henry Chee Dodge Big League Trading Card by Minkus Advertising Specialties, measures 2 3/8'' x 2.5'', Bio: ''Henry Chee Dodge Kitchii; stiin Adits'aii (''man who interprets,'' ''one who hears and understands'') Ashkihih (''boy interpreter''); Kilchii; Kilchee; Chee (''red boy'') Tribe name: mixed Navajo (Dineh) Born: ca. 1857 Died: 1947, was born at Fort Defiance, Arizona, in the late winter or early spring 1857. His father was a white army officer, Colonel Henry L. Dodge, who was killed in a battle with Apache a few months before Henry was born. His mother, Bisnayanchi, a Navajo (Dineh) of the Coyote-Pass Clan, was killed in 1864 during Kit Carson's campaign against the Navajo. Young Henry Dodge was adopted by a Navajo family and accompanied them on the forced march to Bosque Redondo, the infamous camp where Indians were held under harsh conditions. Dodge was a respected Navajo leader for over 60 years.''
