A letter to Annie Jastrow, daughter of renowned Talmudic scholar Rabbi Marcus Jastrow. In full: “The Chairman of the Publication Committee of the Jewish Society of America instructs me to write you that the Society herewith grants you permission to use the version of the Psalms issued by it, in your new edition of the prayer-book, Abodath Israel.” In fine condition, with light scattered creasing and an erased pencil notation to the bottom.
