Henrietta Szold, Jewish Scholar and Zionist Leader Typed Letter Signed "Henrietta Szold". One page, 7.75" x 10.5", on General Council of the Jewish Community of Palestine letterhead, Jerusalem, September 4, 1937. In this letter Henrietta Szold thanks two young women in Detroit, Michigan for a donation to the Kindergarten Association of Palestine. The two young women, both members of the Little Women of Hadassah, received this most cordial letter from Szold which reads in part: "If you know the full value of your support to the Kindergartens – and I am convinced you do – you will find your best recompense not in any word of thanks from me but in the consciousness that, as your note says, you are making yourselves part of an important piece of work...My most cordial wishes for your success in the next and many succeeding seasons until you merge yourselves into the Big Women of Hadassah." Accompanying the letter is a stamped receipt for the donation and the original transmittal envelope. All items are slightly toned and the letter and receipt have the usual fold creases. Very good condition.

Shipping: Flat Material, Small (view shipping information)
