This forest landscapes by Dutch painter Hendrik Dirk Kruseman van Elten was created around 1890. Executed in loose brushwork the painter presented a forest landscape at a hillside clearing. In the center of the picture the figure of a brushwood collector appears in front of a fallen tree.



The painting is signed ‘Krusemann van Elten’ and is in an age-appropriate good condition with a small touch up in the area of the sky. The surface is a slightly soiled. The image measures 33.5 x 40.5 cm, the framed dimensions are 44.5 x 51 cm. The frame also show traces of use. (cru)
